You can encounter some amazing art just driving around the streets of Las Vegas. The Zap project was initiated in 2005 by Clark County Parks and Recreation. Over the years it has become a vehicle for bringing public art to neighborhoods throughout the Las Vegas Valley and Clark County. My favorite is Zap 7. Drive up and down Maryland Parkway and take time to look at the utility boxes; you may be surprised at what you see.

Look for my favorite on Maryland near Harmon not far from the UNLV Student Union.
